Rodney Taylor, Managing Principal
Rod has been a part of the engineering and construction industry for over 20 years.  During this time he has held several positions from project manager to CEO. His background includes serving as a consultant for an international business consulting and accounting firm, and founding and assisting in the start-up of multiple companies.  He holds degrees in economics and accounting from ASU and maintains his designation as a CPA.  As President of TRC, he is responsible for overall company performance and growth.

 

Joel DeHaven,  Principal, Kansas Operations
Joel has over 20 years of experience in the consulting engineering industry and has worked in Arizona, Kansas, and Illinois. He attended Kansas State University and has a degree in Architectural Engineering. Joel is a licensed electrical engineer in twelve states. Joel is currently the Principal in Charge of the Wichita, Kansas office. Joel has extensive experience with design-build construction and on-call engineering for manufacturing, healthcare, and municipal clients.

 

 

Mario Torregrossa, Principal, Building Systems Engineering
Mario has worked in the consulting engineering industry since 1986 providing mechanical, plumbing, and fire protection engineering design for a variety of projects.  He has extensive experience in design/build and CMAR delivery methods.  Mario received his engineering degree from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale and is licensed in Arizona, California, Oklahoma, Idaho, and Washington.  He is the Principal in Charge of the Vertical Engineering Division.

 

 

Rick Ryall, Principal, Energy Services
Rick has over 20 years experience in the HVAC industry. He has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Akron and is a licensed mechanical engineer in three states.  Rick is also a Certified Building Commissioning Professional.  Rick is the Principal in Charge of TRC’s Energy Services Division.  Rick also has extensive experience in the District Energy Industry, having engineered and worked on systems in Phoenix Arizona, Chicago Illinois, Cleveland Ohio, and Boston Massachusetts.

 

 

Dan Simpson, Principal, Renewable Energy Engineering
Dan joined Taylor RyMar Corporation in 1996 as an electrical engineer.  Since that time he has held several positions including Senior Electrical Engineer and Project Manager.  Currently he is the Principal in Charge of the Renewable Energy Division.  Additionally, he oversees the Electrical Engineering Department for the Phoenix office.  Dan has a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Missouri Rolla and is a Registered Professional Engineer in Arizona and California.

 

 

Chris Maroney, Principal, Mechanical Engineering
Chris has 20 years of experience in the consulting engineering industry.  He has a Bachelors degree in Engineering Mathematics from the University of Arizona and is currently completing his MBA.  Chris is a licensed mechanical engineer in five states. His primary role is the Principal in Charge of project workflow and staffing.  He also provides project management and mechanical engineering design on certain retail, hospitality, manufacturing, mining, healthcare, higher education and municipal projects.
