Managing Principal
Mr. Taylor has been the Managing Principal of Taylor RyMar Corporation since 1997. He is responsible for overall business development, strategic planning and company management. Prior to becoming managing principal of Taylor RyMar Corporation, Mr. Taylor held such positions a chief financial officer, controller, and business manager. Additionally, he provided business and management consulting services for a variety of companies through one of the largest international business advisory service organizations, and personally founded or helped organize multiple companies over the last twenty years. Mr. Taylor's in-depth knowledge of the consulting engineering industry comes from nearly two decades of experience within the industry in both design and operations management.
Principal Electrical Engineer
Mr. DeHaven manages Taylor RyMar Corporation's Wichita, Kansas office and provides engineering and project management support for the Scottsdale, Arizona office. His success in the engineering industry has come from an ability to understand a project as a whole, and not just focus on the needs of one discipline. He has a degree in Architectural Engineering from Kansas State University and is a licensed electrical engineer in Kansas, Arizona, Idaho, Iowa, Nevada, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas, and Wisconsin. Mr. DeHaven brings over 15 years of experience to the firm, working on projects through Arizona and the Mid-West. In addition to design and project management, Joel has worked as an Owner's agent and has been the Annual Facilities Permit Agent for companies such as Motorola, Huhtamaki Plastics, Level 3 Communications, and Flip Chip International. This experience has allowed him to work closely with plan review and inspection personnel to deliver successful projects for his clients.
Principal Mechanical Engineer
Since beginning his career in 1989, Mr. Ryall has worked primarily in the HVAC industry. He has specialized experience in Central Plants and the district heating and cooling industry. He has connected over 25 million square feet of space to district systems while working with district energy systems in Chicago, Illinois and Cleveland, Ohio. He has provided consulting services to a district energy system in Boston, Massachusetts and is currently providing consulting services for the Northwind district cooling system in Phoenix, Arizona.
Rick has provided mechanical (HVAC), plumbing and fire protection engineering for numerous new facility and renovation projects including municipal, commercial, industrial, and educational applications. Designs include heating, ventilating, air conditioning systems, plumbing systems, and exhaust systems for dust collection, fume scrubbing and general exhaust.
Principal Mechanical Engineer
Mr. Torregrossa has worked in the HVAC industry since 1986 and has provided mechanical (HVAC), plumbing, and fire protection engineering design and project management services for a variety of projects since then. His experience includes heating, ventilating, air conditioning systems for buildings, process piping and plumbing systems, exhaust systems for dust collection, fume scrubbing, solvent and general exhaust and fire protection systems.
Mario directs production of mechanical, plumbing, and fire protection engineering design services within the company, while also providing project management and construction management. He is also active with coordinating inter-discipline communication and project quality control. He has extensive experience with design/build and CM @ Risk delivery methods, and his ability to communicate with construction teams helps improve the constructability of complex and technical projects. In addition to engineering, he devotes time to the City of Tempe Development Review Commission and Plumbing and Mechanical Advisory Board. Mario is excited to be a part of the City of Tempe's growth and development.
Principal Electrical Engineer
Mr. Simpson joined Taylor RyMar Corporation in 1996. His prime responsibility is management of the electrical engineering department. Dan is also involved in project management, project engineering, quality control and construction management. He has a broad base of experience which includes commercial, industrial, municipal, educational, and healthcare projects.
Dan's technical background includes power distribution systems, lighting systems, short circuit and coordination studies, and critical power systems. Dan has worked closely with Architects, Engineers, Owners and User Groups to provide safe, cost effective systems that meet the needs of the Owner.
