Project Information
District Cooling Facilities |
||
| Like electricity and natural gas, the distribution of chilled water as a utility for large scale facility HVAC systems is an important part of many metropolitan cities. Taylor RyMar Corporation is proud to be involved with the Northwind district cooling system in Phoenix and has provided consulting for construction of their first central plant and distribution system, as well as engineering and construction management services for construction of their second plant and expansions to the distribution system. These designs have included a 1.3 million gallon ice tank for thermal storage and multiple 2,000-ton dual compressor chillers that can chill glycol for ice making or chilled water for direct distribution to the district loop. |
